Conversion Service Bureau Operations
Tape Conversion - 9-track reels (3420), 3480, 3490, 3490E, 3570, 3590, DLT, SDLT, AIT, LTO, 4mm, 8mm, Travan, QIC (full and mini) are among the many physical media we support. Logical structures include all flavors of IBM and ANSI standard files, including fixed and variable length records, spanned records and other variations that are troublesome to other services. We also convert many proprietary "legacy" formats, including a variety of Wang, DEC, Data General, Unix, PDP-11, Honeywell and many others. [The list all of the supported formats has become unwieldy. Disk Conversion - Bernoulli, ZIP, JAZZ, Super-Disk, SyQuest, CD, DVD, Optical (3½" and 5¼") and diskettes (8", 5¼" and 3½" ) in a dizzying variety of logical and physical formats;.
Legacy System Migrations - (e.g.- IBM, Wang, DEC, etc.) - unmatched speed and efficiency in converting large volumes of database, word processing, imaging and other data types;
Scanning, OCR, Acrobat PDF creation, macro and template design, and document management migration are among the many additional services which our staff can provide. NEW: We have recently added the ability to scan from microfilm for editability and indexing, and to write image, document and report files to microfilm to satisfy long-term archiving needs.
